In line with Short+Sweet’s goals of giving an opportunity for up and coming theatre professionals to learn more about the crafts of writing, directing and acting we run our Masterclass programme where established practitioners give an insight into their craft and working life.

There are sessions on acting, writing, directing and casting – but actors, writers and directors are welcome to attend all sessions.

Masterclass sessions are held at the NIDA Parade Playhouse every Thursday at 5.30pm during the Festival.

Masterclasses are open to Short+Sweet entrants, auditionees and participants.

Entrants include all actors who auditioned for Short+Sweet, all writers who entered scripts, directors who registered to direct and Independent Theatre Companies who submitted a production.

Entry is FREE and you do not have to book. Just turn up for a chance to learn from the best in the biz!
