Short+Sweet Rockhampton

Now entering its tenth year, Short+Sweet Theatre is the biggest festival of ten minute theatre in the world!

Held annually in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, the Central Coast of NSW, Singapore, Malaysia and Auckland - the festival has already helped launch the careers of countless theatre professionals.

Now Short+Sweet is coming to Rockhampton with the first ever Short+Sweet Rockhampton to take place in the second half of 2010, supported by Rockhampton Regional Council.

Short+Sweet Rockhampton will present the best ten minute plays by local writers, presented by the best local actors and directors so we are on the look out for actors, writers, directors, Independent Theatre Companies and even volunteer crew.

At the end of the festival great prizes will be presented for Best Overall Production, Best Script, Best Actor and Actress and Best Director.

So if you want to get involved in the first ever Short+Sweet Rockhampton – this is your chance.

Entries and registrations for Short+Sweet Rockhampton 2010 are now OPEN.

Participation in Short+Sweet Rockhampton is only open to artists residing in the Rockhampton region.
