Shorter+Sweeter
Shorter+Sweeter is a professional touring program which showcases a selection of the very best works gathered from the past years of Short+Sweet written by Australia’s hottest writers.
In 2006 Shorter+Sweeter included works by Steven Hopley, Adam Gelin, Alex Broun and Ashley Walker and was presented at the Studio, Sydney Opera House, and at the Esplanade, Singapore.
Short+Sweet hit the road in 2008 with “best of the fest”- Shorter+Sweeter.
The tour Kicked off in The Alice, leapt up to Darwin, then across to Cairns, working its way down to the East Coast to Warrnambool in regional VIC and finished in our Nation’s Capital.
The program featured works by Alex Broun, Matt Casarino, Adam Gelin and Steven Hopley and a cast including Tom O’Sullivan and Christine Greenough.
Shorter+Sweeter is an exciting showcase for new Australian writers and takes the ten minute play to a whole new audience around the country.
