Short+Sweet Theatre Festival in Kolkata will be held in August this year.
If you would like to direct a 10 minute play or pitch a play with a team attached, then now is the time to fill in the Registration Form that follows this text and submit.
DIRECTORS will be offered a selection of Indian and International Scripts from which to choose.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
There is no fee for participating in Short+Sweet!
There is no remuneration or profit share provided by Short+Sweet to any participant of the festival.
All directors are advised to either use their own scripts which are to be submitted through the link provided or use a script that Short+Sweet provides, to avoid any legal and copyright issues. This also encourages new writing.
The scripts that we provide you with, to choose from, have already been sanctioned by the playwrights. We will put you in touch with your writer once you have selected a script from the list we provide.
By accepting the terms and conditions here, you are also giving permission to use information about you, your play and related material including, but not limited to, posters and individual/group/ performance photographs to be used for publicity of the festival.
Short+Sweet has the unconditional right to choose or reject your entry based on the overall balance of the festival and once the optimum number of plays, that we have decided to produce for the year, has been achieved.
Winners in several categories are decided by audience and experts.
