Fast+Fresh Dance 2008 Results
This year, Western Sydney Dance Action and Short+Sweet co-presented the premiere season of Fast+Fresh Dance at Parramatta Riverside.
The high standard of works by choreographers aged 16-21 is testament to the talent that exists within our younger dance community.
According to the judges, it was a very difficult decision to decide between the outstanding finalists.
The awards were presented as follows-
MOST OUTSTANDING CHOREOGRAPHY
Sean Marcs for his work SUP-PORT
*Winner of this award gains automatic entry in to the Short Sweet+Dance Festival February 24th-March 14th 2009.
BEST NEW TALENT
Sheridan Mouawad for her work RIVER FLOWS IN YOU
MOST OUTSTANDING FEMALE DANCER
Samantha Agnew for her performance in TINY EXPLOSIONS THAT ARE YOURS TO KEEP
MOST OUTSTANDING MALE DANCER
George Sanders for his performance in THE MOMENT
PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD
Equal tie between Simone Chivas HEAT MISER and Sheridan Mouawad for her work RIVER FLOWS IN YOU
